Description:
We looked at using Skype in the classroom. Skype software permits users to make high-quality audio "phone calls" over the internet.
Best Practices:
This allows students all over the world to communicate and learn from each other.
Examples / How would you use it?
Pen pals, book buddies, new students, students who moved, community members/jobs
Challenges:
Not having the proper equipment and/or accounts for all students.
Timing/Organization
Reflection
We feel that Skype could be a great addition to enhance the curriculum.
